The Youth Organization of Church of Nigeria – Anglican Communion, Diocese of Akure, has honoured eight distinguished members with Awards of Recognition during a thanksgiving service at St. David’s Anglican Church, Ibulesoro.

Among the awardees was Ambassador Comrade Omoboni Olusola Joseph, the chief of staff to Commissioner for women affairs,Dr.Seun Bosede Osamaye.

Omoboni olusola was recognised for his leadership, academic excellence and dedication to service.

Speaking at the event, the Vicar, Archdeacon A.A. Adebanjo, alongside the Youth Captain of St. David’s Ibulesoro, Revd S.A. Daramola, described the awardees as role models for youths in the diocese.

In his remarks, Olusola Joseph dedicated the award to his amiable boss, Hon. Dr. Seun Abosede Osamaye, for her mentorship and support.

He also appreciated the church Youth President, Comrade Ojo Ademola Alex, whom he described as a dear brother committed to continuous success.
